Spring Break with Paul and McKay

Weather cleared, raindrops stopped and the afternoon and trails were dry for a hike in Muir Woods that soon went upward through the redwoods. Meandering through the gift shops with the sound of a crow on the roof followed. We crossed three bridges in one afternoon and evening. Where to eat? We went to our spot below the temple of Taqueria Los Comales and enjoyed our dinner at about 8:00 giving us just enough time to watch a new Visitors Center movie from the perspective of David Whitmer. I'd seen the new Oliver Cowdery movie on Sunday evening. They are both wonderful. Then we walked on the terrace around the temple. What a great day together with my son and his college roommate. We ate two meals together I prepared and had a rousing game of Scrabble Friday night. They attached the bathroom drawer runners, swept the patio and bagged cut branches, took out the trash and recyclables and kept a tidy space. Sitting between them in church and Sunday School was a wonderful way to end the week together. Come back soon!
