Deja vu for San Francisco Giants and a Gorgeous Day in the City

Today the San Francisco Giants begin another World Series having clinched the National League Pennant for 2012 in game 7 against the St. Louis Cardinals 9-0 at home. Torture is alive and well. I loved it when the announcer said a monsoon could be hitting and the fans wouldn't even care as it poured in the 9th inning. I am so happy for the Giants and October is the perfect month to wear orange and black. Watch out Detroit Tigers.

World Series 10-24-12, 8-3 Giants
World Series 10-25-12, 2-0 Giants
World Series 10-27-12, 2-0 Giants
World Series 10-28-12, 4-3 Giants in the 10th inning

The birth of my grandson October 8 was the good luck charm for the Giants winning their second championship. Congratulations San Francisco Giants!

"The Sporting News announced today that Buster Posey is their National League Comeback Player of the Year. This is the older and more prestigious comeback award.

Posey won in a ballot of 203 major-league players. Adam Dunn of the Chicago White Sox won the American League award.
