I look for the temple from the train.

Oakland Temple was painted by the Artist, Al Rounds, in 1985 as a gift for his father, who lived in Walnut Creek, California. This painting captures the pictorial splendor of the San Francisco Bay Area as well as the unique beauty of the temple structure.

This is how Temple Hill looks the Saturday after Thanksgiving through December.

Oriental poppies!
Tulips are everywhere on Temple Hill. It's absolutely joyous. March 2019.

This is legos-made from the Antioch Stake honoring the rededication of the Oakland Temple in June 2019.

Open house is May 11 to June 1, 2019, excluding Sundays. Joy C., Kathy and I attended May 13, 12:15 p.m.
I love to see the moon. Kevin Milne is the artist.

Father's Day 2019 the temple will be rededicated. June 25 is the first day of temple service since it closed in February 2018 for renovation.

The Oakland California Temple was rededicated Sunday, June 16, 2019, by President Dallin H. Oaks, first counselor in the First Presidency, at the 9 a.m. session I attended. Elder David A. Bednar of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles accompanied President Oaks on Sunday for the rededication, which included three sessions. (I attended the first session held at our stake center.)
