San Francisco City Hall Centennial

If you go back 100 years it's after the 1906 earthquake and a brand-new City Hall arose from the ashes. It's a gorgeous edifice and the rotunda has regular concerts free to the public. The celebration includes many performing bands and entertainment. Happy Birthday to City Hall. http://sfcityhall100.com. 6/20/15: What a blast I had! I ended up spending five hours and was dead tired when I started. One venue led to another and I stayed for the genius aerial dancers and light show through the decades against City Hall. Fries for $3.00; women in long costumes on stilts; a colorful, loud roaming band; two sets of Lavay Smith and Her Red Hot Skillet Lickers and dancing (held a purse for a girl dancing with a partner); a Janis Joplin-type singer and bands at the other venue; free posters; a gymnast; magician; juggler; lady in lights and City Hall head gear; silent disco was a great time; three jazzy belly dancers; three modern dancers; crescent thin moon on blue then black above City Hall; aerial dancers and genius light show through the decades against City Hall; Golden State outhouses and having to hold tight once inside; good vibes and good manners; smiling, happy faces; another woman on stilts told me my yellow and blue was pretty (Warriors colors); watching the light show on a man's cell phone waiting for the train at 10:15. Oh what a night. It was one for the ages.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNzPklBrjpE. http://www.sfgate.com/bayarea/article/Thousands-turn-out-for-City-Hall-Centennial-6338994.php
