The Christmas tree and lights around the window, exchanging gifts the first night, The Chew, The View, walking in the city, Central Park, the ice skating rink, The Dairy, Dr. Oz, Starbucks, Manhattan Temple for a session and nine sealings, walking by Julliard, two story times at different S.I. libraries, NY Botanical Garden and Holiday Trains with a Thomas show, two times at S.I. 1st Ward and staying in nursery, a sonogram of baby, Shake Shack, dancing to Happy in the living room, Isabella's for dessert and given one on the house, Martine's Fine Bake Shoppe for dessert and Polpettina for dinner in Tuckahoe, S.I. ferry, the subway, the bus over Verrazano-Narrows Bridge, cookies and fruit in Trinity church, 9/11 memorial, clean sidewalks, people dressed for uptown, no bums, two visits to Little Italy Pizza for stromboli, a nice guy giving DMM two cars, Sesame Street exhibit at Lincoln Center, Lady Liberty, Ellis Island and the NY skyline from the ferry, Mamma Mia! and Times Square, my daughter singing to her son, breakfasts, lunches and dinners together, s'mores, Friendly's Butter Pecan ice cream and Friendly's Vanilla ice cream Rick brought home, hot chocolate and popcorn all in one night, my caramel corn, grits 3/$4 at Olive Tree Marketplace, a night of Scrabble, S.I. Children's Museum, cinnamon rolls, banana pancakes (DMM helped with both), strawberry smoothies, minestrone soup, Thai coconut soup, playing cars, puzzles, tag, hide and seek, reading books to DMM, visiting, laughing, happy to be together since January 10.
