Together at last in Nicasio

The occasion was Rebecca and Tom's outdoor wedding and reception August 30 and the weather was sublime, the food excellent and the dancing to live music so much fun. This is the first time I've been with my entire family together in one place. It was a wonderful occasion.

He's a talker

At 23 months Dex loves his words. Here are my favorites: "Gramma." "Big bite!" "Whoa! Big bump!" "Puzzle pieces." And then the ever popular "Mama is eat-ing, daddy is eat-ing, Uncle Paul is eat-ing, Gramma is eat-ing, cat is eat-ing," pronouncing each syllable until he's gone around the table.
