The cutest grandson ever! And so sweet.
Let it be known that I spent three wonderful weeks with my baby boy and his mother. What a great visit. I love you.

Olive, my namesake

You certainly can't give any credit to the author and editor of that newspaper clipping, riddled with errors; the name for starters is misspelled. Mother wanted a dark baby to name after her mother and that was me. My younger sister was named for her middle name. I never knew my grandmothers but met one grandfather briefly for a few minutes at his Vallejo residence and got to know Mother's father Watt when we visited her people in Washington. What I've recently realized is he died just two months before our 48-state trip and we must have driven to Washington for the funeral but at least he didn't die while we were away all summer.
